MEASURE YOUR CHILD’S FEET
Depending on what type of shoes you intend to purchase, have your child stand barefoot or wearing the appropriate socks.
Make sure you measure your child’s feet in the afternoon, as feet tend to swell during the day.
STEP 1
Tape a blank piece of paper to the floor or another suitable hard surface. Make sure this is safe to stand on. Have your child stand up straight on the piece of paper.
STEP 2
Using a pen or a pencil, trace carefully around one foot – from the heel to the toe tips. Repeat with the other foot, as the right and left sides may be different.
